Hi I have a wifi router AC1200 and I would like to know if I can use it to install Ubuntu on my PC.Is it possible? In my router it says that it's only compatible with MACOS.

Many brands of AC1200. If router it is compatible with every Internet Wi-Fi device.
Or is this an USB adapter to connect to your router.
Best to use Ubuntu live installer and see if it works in live mode.

So I assume it's not hard connected to your PC - correct?
Does your PC have a wireless adapter or do you intend to attach to the router with an ethernet cable?
Sorry for all the questions but your original query doesn't make total sense to me!
Other than downloading the iso file for the installation process you do not really need a network connection when installing; I have never used one but connect the network after rebooting.

@ajgreeny The PC has only the router. I Have an adapter but it's another brand and i think IT only works on Windows and not Linux because the adapter îs an exe file!
